A Winter Block Party for Chicago's Hip-Hop Arts

This day long event begins with a FREE “Winter Block Party,” celebrating Chicago’s hip-hop arts. Featuring a live mural painting by Revise CMW, an Open Mic showcase, two of Chicago's favorite DJs, and a debut gallery exhibition of works-for-sale by some of Chicago's most notable artists.

In the evening, join us for the main event as Chicago-born William "Upski" Wimsatt gives us his own State of Society Report, which he's titled: "Movement-Building in the Age of Obama - An Evening of Stories, Strategies and Straight Talk", and then is is joined on stage by Chicago Tribune columnist Rick Kogan to talk about politics, art and the public square.
