Agata Tuszynska, one of the most popular authors of biography and memoir in Poland, discusses and reads from her book Vera Gran: The Accused. The story is a multidimensional treatise on the tragic choices and moral consequences of a torch singer from the Warsaw ghetto, who was accused of collaborating with the Nazi Germans. There will be a question and answer session to follow the presentation.
Organized in collaboration with the Polish Cultural Institute in New York and with the Adam Mickiewicz Institute in Warsaw.
