Taha Muhamad Ali is a Palestinian poet. He was born in 1931 in a Galilee village called Suhforia. The village was destroyed in 1948 and Taha ended up settling in Nazareth and becoming an Israeli citizen. There’s a new book about his life called, My happiness bears no relation to Happiness: A Poet’s Life in the Palestinian Century.
