Today, we feature people who navigate the complexities and tragedies of the Darfur genocide through art.

In Darfur is a new play by Winter Miller. Working with New York Times columnist Nicholas Kristof, she witnessed first-hand the horrors taking place in Sudan. A dramatic reading of the play will run in Chicago Wednesday, November 12th, 2008 at the Spertus Institute.

"In Darfur" will be accompanied by a new collection of large format prints on fabric from the DARFUR/DARFUR projected exhibition. A special screening of the projections will be shown prior to, and following the reading of the play.
