Darfur Multimedia Exhibit in Book Form

Outraged by the situation in Darfur, Leslie Thomas created a multimedia show to bring the crisis to the streets of cities around the world. Leslie is an architect in Chicago.

She's also Founder, Director and Curator of the Darfur/Darfur exhibit. It’s an outdoor, multimedia exhibit that has displayed images of Darfur on buildings in more than 30 cities around the world.

We talked with Leslie last year when Darfur/Darfur was showing outside on a wall of Chicago’s Field Museum. The exhibit recently moved into the world of print.

In a moment we’ll be joined by Mark Brecke one of the photographers in the book version of Darfur/Darfur.

But first, Leslie Thomas reminds us what inspired her to start the exhibit…
