Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me! Saturday at 10am and 9pm
Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me! airs on Chicago Public Radio Saturdays at 10am and 9pm

Produced by NPR and Chicago Public Radio, the news quiz show is a fast-paced and irreverent review of the past week's news. Host Peter Sagal tests the knowledge and wit of celebrity panelists, including Mo Rocca, Paula Poundstone, Charlie Pierce, and many others. Taped each week in Chicago at the Chase Bank Auditorium, Wait Wait… Don't Tell Me! is also Chicago's favorite Thursday night activity.

Meet the hosts
Peter Sagal

Host, Wait, Wait... Don't Tell Me!

Prior to becoming host of Wait, Wait in 1998, Peter had a varied career including stints as a playwright, screenwriter, stage director, actor, extra in a Michael Jackson video, travel writer, essayist, ghostwriter and staff writer for a motorcycle magazine.

He lives in the Chicago area with his family, and is the author of The Big Book of Vices. The book is about how people—other people, of course—misbehave.
