Der Golem is a 1915 silent horror film, the story is based on ancient Jewish legend.
Today we’ll talk with a human rights lawyer about the extra-judicial killings being carried out by the military in the Philippines. Also, at the Chicago Cultural Center on Friday, the Fulcrum Point Music Project will perform the music of a contemporary Israeli composer during a screening of the German silent film "Der Golem". In our Global Notes segment, Fulcrum’s musical director tells Radio M host Tony Sarabia and Jerome why he’s so excited by the music and the movie. Later, Worldview film contributor Milos Stehlik reviews Lars Von Trier’s latest film, "Antichrist.”
