Chicago Matters

There are almost 400,000 Somali refugees worldwide. Thousands of these Somali refugees live in the United States, making them the largest African refugee population in the country. Some of them get help from caseworker Mohamed Abdurahman. Mohamed was once a refugee himself. And for years, he didn’t know if his family had lived or died.
