We report on a recent string of deaths at a Chicago apartment building for veterans. We hear about the graduation of new guards for the Cook County Juvenile Detention Center’s model unit. We talk with one of the organizers behind a new campaign to ensure South Side residents and businesses aren’t displaced by a Chicago Olympics. Plus, we talk with journalist-turned-novelist Jack Fuller about his latest work, Abbeville. Then, a report on overcrowding on commuter rail lines—in their parking lots, a woman who reconditions old Big Wheels for use by adults, and another installement of Writer's Block Party.
