Fresh Squeezed: Kevin Coval's EVERYDAY PEOPLE

Celebrate HBO Def Poet and Chicago Public Radio Resident Poet Kevin Coval's latest book release as he performs selected pieces from EVERYDAY PEOPLE.  Teen performers from Louder Than A Bomb: The Chicago Teen Poetry Festival will perform with Coval.
 
A reception will follow the event, featuring music by the Tim Lincoln Trio and a talk-back with Kevin, hosted by the Chicago Tribune’s Rick Kogan.
 
This event is part of Victory Gardens' Fresh Squeezed series, bringing young and original voices to the Biograph Theater, an American center for new plays.
