The More Personal Side of Disability Pride: Open Mic/Poetry Slam

Four years ago, a small group of disability advocates organized the first disability pride parade, an event to share and build disability pride, culture and history. Each year, one night before the parade, parade participants and others gather for a night of poetry, prose and music.
