Adrian Smith
Chicago Architect, Hello Beautiful!
Adrian Smith's work includes locally the NBC Tower, Trump International Hotel and Tower and the AT&T Corporate Center. Internationally, he designed the Jin Mao Tower, United Gulf Bank Building and what most likely will be the world'ss tallest skyscraper, Burj Dubai, among numerous others. Smith spent his entire carreer until last fall at the Chicago firm Skidmore, Owings and Merrill. In October of 2006, he left to start his own practice Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture, another former SOM architect.
