Last Thursday was the grand opening of the French Market in downtown Chicago. For WBEZ, Food Critic David Hammond took on the tough assignment to report on this new “old way” of buying fresh food.

Love your station, but i got a little annoyed listening today. It seemed like every five minutes the broadcast included somebody chomping on some kind of food. Gross. who wants to hear that on the radio? I realize this public radio, but come on, lets set the bar a little higher hmmmm?
