Chicago is losing out on another major trade show. The Plastics Industry Trade Association announced it's moving its convention to Orlando in 2012 and 2015.

Just last week the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society said it won't be bringing its annual meeting to Chicago in 2012. Now the Plastics Industry announced it won't be back, either. Labor costs seem to be the reason.

Chicago Mayor Richard Daley says that could mean loss of revenue.

DALEY: Shows keep dwindling down, there will be less and less activity at McCormick Place and have a huge economic affect upon the state, county and city governments.

Daley says McCormick Place needs to find a way to lower costs. The Chicago Tribune reports Plastics officials expect to save about $20 million by going to Orlando. Some Chicago hotels, restaurants and labor unions are scheduled to discuss convention costs, today.

Wht his fathr built. The stupid son tears down. Its amazing, we had the best and the worst mayor of Chicago from the SAME family. Little dick, has started ruining the city. He needs to be voted out, before he does anything else. He needs to be impeached!!!
