Bookmark and Share Share

This past Friday night, President Obama told an audience in Connecticut that now’s the time to reform one lucrative American industry: Banking. The issue will come to a head of sorts this week in Chicago as the American Bankers Association convenes here for its annual meeting. A coalition of unions and consumer groups, including ARISE Chicago, plans to protest the convention. Shelly Ruzicka is director of operations for ARISE Chicago, and she tells us more about the planned protest.

Our credit Rating has been demolished by JP Morgan Chase Bank, in the nameof modifying our mortgage so we don't loose our house. It turns out they never informed us what the concequences where going to be, ever. As if that wasn't enough Chase then cancelled our homeowners insurance policy. In other words they are even going against thier own banking policy. We have no say so about it at all! Is that what they mean by Fair Housing Lending, fair to who Chase only?
