This has been no ordinary summer in politics as Governor Pat Quinn chose, on Friday, to drop his push for a tax increase, Attorney General Lisa Madigan quashed assumptions by announcing that she’ll stay put. And, on that same Friday, Junior Senator Roland Burris announced that he won’t seek election to his own seat next year after he finishes term. He joins us to explain what's behind his decision.
