Vice President Joe Biden touted the effects of the federal stimulus bill during a visit to Chicago Monday. Biden spoke at the former Republic Windows and Doors factory on Chicago's north side. Workers staged a sit-in there last fall, arguing for severance pay the company insisted it didn't have. Now the factory's got a new owner, and has hired back some of the workers.
