Bookmark and Share Share

New leadership in the Governor’s office and Illinois Senate has created optimism among the state's residents. It's also raised questions about how these leaders will address the urgent issues facing Illinois.

Listen in to the Senate’s newly elected Democratic and Republican leaders as they present their top priorities and discuss the state’s legislative agenda. They talk about strengthening regional decision making, funding capital investments in transportation and other infrastructure, addressing growing housing, education, and environmental challenges, and tackling the state’s budget deficit.

Featured speakers are Ill. Senate President John Cullerton (D-Chicago) and Ill. Senate Republican Leader Christine Radogno (R-Lemont).

A Q&A session with the audience follows the moderated panel discussion.

This talk was generously sponsored by ComEd and Mayer Brown.

Recorded Friday, March 20, 2009 at Mayer Brown.
