This weekend, veteran newshounds and rising media stars alike will gather for the Chicago Journalism Town Hall. The topic at hand will be the current state of journalism in Chicago. Every day brings different ways to consume and produce the news – especially on the Web. To find out what that means for our news town, we’ve invited a panel of local online journalists.

Geoff Dougherty is the founding editor of Chi Town Daily News, Daniel Honigman is Lead Social Media Strategist at Tribune Interactive, and Ben Goldberger is editor of the Huffington Post’s Chicago edition.

We’ll be live blogging from this Sunday’s Journalism Town Hall. Sign up to participate. And, check back next week to hear Sunday's event in its entirety. It's being recorded for Chicago Amplified

Music Button: Air, "Mer Du Japon", from the CD Pocket Symphony, (Astralwerks records)
