Few businesses have been unaffected by the current economic crisis. But what happens when you’re in the business of giving money away? The Donors Forum is an association of grant-makers and non-profit organizations promoting philanthropy in Illinois. Eight Forty-Eight’s Richard Steele recently spoke with Celeste Wroblewski, the group’s Vice President of External Relations. She says charitable giving doesn’t necessarily dry up in times of financial trouble – it just flows a little more slowly.
