It’s been almost a week since Barack Obama became President-elect. From Obama’s transition team to the enormous implications his election has for Illinois and Chicago politics, the effects have been huge. Late last week, it was announced that Illinois Congressman Rahm Emanuel would also be vacating his office to serve as Obama’s White House chief of staff. Chicago Public Radio’s political reporter Ben Calhoun discusses the transition teams and the political musical chairs.
