Congressman Rahm Emanuel from Chicago today presented two Navy veterans with "long overdue" medals for their service. The ceremony honored Charles B. Roberts and Irwin W. Gleisner, both of Chicago. Emanuel then took questions from reporters about current presidential and congressional politics.

Mr. Emanuel is ignoring the fact that Sarah Palin is a lethal weapon. She brings together all of the alienated factions of the Republican Party, while at the same time neutrilizing Obama's personality. Sarah Palin managed to obliterate Obama in just three days of being introduced to a national audience. This is a woman that the country is falling in love with, and the more the Democrats try to smear her, the more the public will jump to her side. This is a supreme problem for the Democrats who suddenly find themselves in disarray over this ingenious "checkmate" move of John McCain.
