Now it’s time for our regular show within a show Writers Block Party. It’s a literary variety program that showcases local writers, musicians and performers. The show is hosted by Chicago writer Amy Krouse Rosenthal. Today – Writers Block Party celebrates the number 8.

Amy Krouse Rosenthal invites you to a secret "happening" this Friday night at 8:08pm where something cool will be created together in the span of 45 minutes. Meet in front of the Bean sculpture at Millennium Park. All ages welcome. Amy will be holding a yellow umbrella. Watch the 2-minute short film that explains it all.
