More Accusations of Ill Treatment at Cook County Jail
Just two weeks after federal investigators released a laundry list of civil rights violations at the Cook County jail, a federal judge has found further evidence of unconstitutional conditions. U.S. District Judge Elaine E. Bucklo ruled that when a former inmate is found innocent they should be released and not subjected to a strip search.
