It may not feel very spring-like today, but we are just days away from a time-honored ritual of the season. Daylight Saving Time hits clocks this Sunday at 2 am. While most of the world has been doing the spring-forward and fall-back dance for decades, a sizeable chunk of our neighbor to the east began observing Daylight Saving just two years ago.
University of California at Santa Barbara Professor Matthew Kotchen says Indiana’s situation served up a perfect opportunity for a little experiment. Kotchen says his research shows Daylight Saving Time may not work out the way it’s supposed to.
