Rezko Trial Brings Uncomfortable Attention to Blagojevich, Obama
Produced by Sam Hudzik on Monday, March 03, 2008
|
 |
Jury selection begins today in the trial of a major political fundraiser in Illinois. Tony Rezko's prosecution has brought some uncomfortable attention to some of the state's top political figures.
Rezko faces charges of fraud, extortion and money laundering, part of an alleged scheme to force kickbacks and political donations from companies seeking state contracts. A court filing last week named Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich as the intended beneficiary of a Rezko scheme.
BLAGOJEVICH: What was described there doesn't describe me or how I do things.
Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama has also faced criticism for his connections to Rezko—involving a land deal the senator later said was a mistake. Prosecutors have not accused Obama or Blagojevich of any wrongdoing.

I think Senator Obama should have realized, after 15 years of association with Rezko, that something was WRONG!

May Ophra and our Lord Obama each forgive us our sins and both give an eternal life to the American Spirituality and Consumerism! Amen
Our Ophra anointed our Lord Senate Obama to save America. Amen
I am sure Our Lord Senate Obama has a very faint memory and a poor recollection about whatever He did with Rezko Who?

Phakes for President, sane America // Friday, March 07, 2008 @ 2:30 PM
I cant believe that you could ever think such a shallow canidate could ever attain the Presidency. I am an independant and my votes going to Hillary after GW stood beside Mccain. That sunk his boat with me. Still i would rather Hillary get my vote than Obama, he has no experience people! He is very (wishy-washy)says one thing then says now i wasnt saying that. He is as fake as they come.
