Andrew Gill

Producer, Interactive Media

As a producer for Chicago Public Radio, Andrew is responsible for photo and video content on Chicago Public Radio's Web site, as well as writing for the station's blog and Twitter accounts.

Andrew joined the staff of Chicago Public Radio in January 2004 as a production assistant for the music department, later becoming assistant traffic director. He also contributes pieces to Eight Forty-Eight, Chicago Public Radio’s weekday morning newsmagazine, as well a variety of hour-long specials for our Saturday night special timeslot.

Prior to joining Chicago Public Radio, Andrew was a volunteer for AmeriCorp and an apprentice for Newberry Photography. He is also a freelance photographer/videographer and co-founder of NerdBike, a bicycle safety advocacy group.

Andrew has a B.A. in Communications, with minors in Philosophy and Studio Art from Wheaton College.

Originally from Jacksonville, Florida, Andrew resides in the Lincoln Square neighborhood of Chicago with his wife, Meghan.
